Join CDANY for Advocacy Day in Albany on February 12, 2024!
Get ready for an exciting in-person day of action in Albany with hundreds of other New Yorkers who care about strengthening consumer direction and being the change they want to see in New York and the world.
CDANY is thrilled to once again partner with the New York Association on Independent Living (NYAIL) for our annual Advocacy Day on Monday, February 12, 2024.
WHAT: CDANY & NYAIL Advocacy Day
WHEN: Monday, February 12 – arrive by 10:00 AM
WHERE: Meet in the Well of the Legislative Office Building, 198 State Street, Albany, NY 12210
Run of Show
10:00 to 11:00 AM: Arrival & Check-In
11:00 AM to Noon: Rally in the Well with legislative champions
Noon to 4:00 PM: Individual Legislative Meetings with your Assembly and Senate representatives.
CDANY will provide printed (and emailed in advance) prep materials including talking points for meetings and budget issue one-pagers. CDANY is offering travel scholarships to help cover costs of getting to Albany. Click here to apply for a scholarship.
